HireMeBuddy is a platform that connects clients with verified service providers in Namibia. We facilitate bookings, communications, and payments between users.
3. User Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to use HireMeBuddy
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information
- One person or business may not maintain multiple accounts
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
4. Provider Responsibilities
If you register as a service provider, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your skills and experience
- Maintain professional conduct with clients
- Complete bookings as agreed upon
- Respond to booking requests in a timely manner
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Maintain appropriate licenses and insurance as required by law
5. Client Responsibilities
If you use HireMeBuddy to book services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate booking information
- Treat service providers with respect
- Pay agreed-upon rates for completed services
- Provide honest reviews and ratings
- Cancel bookings with reasonable notice
6. Booking and Payment Terms
- Bookings are made directly between clients and providers
- Payment terms are agreed upon between parties
- HireMeBuddy is not responsible for payment disputes
- Service rates are set by individual providers
- Cancellation policies may vary by provider
7. Platform Fees
HireMeBuddy may charge fees for using the platform. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before transactions.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Use the platform for illegal activities
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Post false or misleading information
- Attempt to circumvent platform fees
- Share account credentials
- Spam or send unsolicited messages
- Violate intellectual property rights
9. Content and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of content you post (photos, reviews, etc.)
- By posting content, you grant HireMeBuddy a license to use it on the platform
- HireMeBuddy name, logo, and design are our intellectual property
- You may not use our branding without permission
10. Reviews and Ratings
- Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences
- We reserve the right to remove fraudulent or abusive reviews
- Providers cannot pay for positive reviews
- Users cannot post reviews about their own services
11. Verification and Safety
- We verify provider documents but do not guarantee their accuracy
- We are not responsible for the quality or safety of services provided
- Users are responsible for their own safety and due diligence
- Report suspicious activity to our support team immediately
12. Limitation of Liability
HireMeBuddy is a platform connecting users. We are not liable for:
- Quality or completion of services
- Injuries or damages occurring during service provision
- Payment disputes between users
- Loss or damage to property
- User content or conduct
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HireMeBuddy harmless from any claims arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
14. Dispute Resolution
Disputes between users should be resolved directly. If mediation is needed, contact our support team at support@hiremebuddy.app.
15. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts at our discretion for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
17. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Namibia. Disputes shall be resolved in Namibian courts.
